Ahead of the big day on November 5, SJP took to Instagram to endorse Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, posing for a photograph holding up a “Harris Walz” placard in what appears to be her New York City home.
In the accompanying caption, the Sex And The City star provided 31 reasons that the Democratic candidate has her vote, listing factors like “common sense gun laws,” “the climate,” and women’s rights.

SJP also gave a shoutout to her loved ones — including her son and two daughters, whom she shares with her husband Matthew Broderick — making it clear that she’s voting in their best interests, too.
To the delight of many fans, Sarah Jessica concluded the list with a nod to a “certain childless cat lady I play on TV,” which, of course, refers to Carrie Bradshaw, who she famously portrayed on HBO’s Sex And The City and its more recent revival series, And Just Like That.

SJP’s classification of Carrie as a “childless cat lady” comes as a subtle dig at the past remarks of Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance, who said in 2021 that women without children are “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made.”

“It’s just a basic fact — you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC — the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children,” Vance told Fox News in an interview that resurfaced online when he was selected as Donald Trump’s running mate this summer.
“And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?” he continued.
As it stands, Sarah Jessica’s post has been supported by celebrities like Ariana Grande, Jessica Alba, Karlie Kloss, and Andy Cohen, who are among the many famous faces to have backed the Harris Walz campaign in the run-up to next month’s election.
