Selena Gomez gives candid reaction over Golden Globes nominations

Selena Gomez was out of words and emotional over the multiple Golden Globe nominations her film Emilia Pérez and TV show Only Murders in the Building received.

Soon after the Golden Globes nominations list was unveiled, Selena took to Instagram Stories to share her reaction with a video of the moment she heard her name called out for two categories: Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for Emilia Pérez, and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Only Murders in the Building.

In the video, the Single Soon hitmaker could be seen laying in bed, but she jumped up when she heard her name. The 32-year-old got emotional and covered her face with her hands, then fell back down and hid under the blanket.

In text over the video, she wrote: “I don’t even know what to write. I’m so proud of @zoesaldana and I am so grateful and honored @goldenglobes.”

The Golden Globe nominations were announced by actors Morris Chestnut and Mindy Kaling at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where the awards ceremony will also be held on January 5.
