Shakira made shock revelation about Rihanna’s pregnancy before her arrival

Shakira had already let the cat of the bag about Rihanna’s pregnancy before she finally revealed it at Met Gala 2025.

As per the latest findings of Daily Mail, Shakira had revealed the news about her co-artist’s third pregnancy with beau A$AP Rocky in a live chat with NBC News.

When the Waka Waka hitmaker was asked about who she was most looking forward to seeing at the event, Shakira named Rihanna and then broke the news of her pregnancy in a slip of tongue.

“I want to see Rihanna!” she began.

The songstress gushed over the mother of two and shared, “I want to see her so bad. And I just heard the news too,”

Oblivious to the fact that the news was being kept under wraps from the general public, Shakira revealed, “She’s pregnant!”

Immediately realizing that she was not supposed to share the news yet, she commented, “Am I not supposed to say that?”

Nonetheless, later in the evening, Rihanna graced the red carpet flaunting her baby bump and thus confirmed Shakira’s statements.
