Sheryl Lee Ralph, Colman Domingo, And More Pay Tribute To Music Titan Quincy Jones

He was a record producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer with an incredible ear for talent. He’s worked with and boosted the careers of many musicians throughout his 70-year career including Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis, Diana Ross, and more. He also helped spawn the acting career of Will Smith with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Quincy has won 28 Grammys (tying with Beyoncé as the most-awarded living person at the time), with 80 nominations in total, and was also honored as a Grammy Legend. He produced Michael Jackson’s history-making Thriller album which went on to earn eight Grammys in 1984, including Album of the Year.
