Simon Cowell shares playful swimming moment with son Eric
Simon Cowell showcased his playful side on Thursday as he posted a rare video of himself and his 10-year-old son Eric engaging in a spirited swimming race.
The 65-year-old music mogul shared the lighthearted clip on Instagram, capturing Eric’s triumphant win and jubilant celebration.
In the video, Eric exclaimed, “I win, I win,” before cheekily ordering his father out of the frame.
Meanwhile, Simon jokingly remarked to the camera, “Well, that was difficult but it was worth it,” as Eric continued to boast about his victory.
While enjoying a sunny escape from the UK winter, Simon donned stylist shades for the poolside fun.
In the post’s caption, he playfully wrote, “I still think I won! Love, Simon x.”
Moreover, this heartwarming moment came after Simon recently revealed how Eric is following in his footsteps by attending the Katie Piper Foundation’s third annual charity carol concert.
According to Daily Mail, during a speech at the event, Simon praised Piper’s resilience and tireless advocacy for burn survivors.
Additionally, he hinted at Eric’s future involvement in the charity by saying, “I will always be here with you, with Lauren, and in years to come, Eric. Over to you next!”
Furthermore, Simon has been a patron of the foundation for 15 years and shared how inspired he was by Piper’s journey while calling her a “real, true inspiration.”
As per the publication, the concert featured special performances including by Britain’s Got Talent finalist Innocent Masuku and readings from Simon’s wife, Lauren Silverman, Katie Piper, and others.
