Swifties And Beyoncé Fans Are Fighting Big Time After Billboard Revealed Their Second “Best Pop Star Of The Century”
From celebs calling out snubs, to questions of why certain stars made the list at all — it’s been heated. ICYMI, the top five so far is as follows: Lady Gaga ranks at 5, followed by Drake at 4, and Rihanna at 3.

That alone raises some serious eyebrows for me.
But it’s all boiled down to the top two, which everyone has long accepted will be the age-old debate: Beyoncé vs Taylor Swift.

God knows why we need to keep pitting these two women against each other, but here we are, I guess.
If you’re wondering how Billboard makes these rankings, they’ve said it’s not just about the charts. They’re incorporating everything from music videos, to live performances, to cultural importance and “overall omnipresence.”

As a huge Swiftie myself, this shocked me. Taylor has broken records so impressive, no other pop star has come close — like being the only person ever to win Album Of The Year at the Grammy’s four times, or having the highest-grossing tour of all time and boosting cities’ economies wherever she goes. Plus, you know, TIME’s Person of the Year and all that.

People also seem to forget about the time she filled up the top ten spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with her album alone. HISTORIC.
And I KNOW my fellow Beyoncé fans could clap back with some killer Bey stats — but honestly? I’m uncertain Swifties will wanna hear it. Because the internet has gone OFF with their thoughts, and people aren’t holding back.
