Wicked lead actor and Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo attended the 2025 Grammys alongside many other music icons.

However, it seems the Grammys didn’t hold space for Cynthia around the crowded tables. So, in a move that would make Drew Barrymore proud, the two singers shared a seat.

Like many of us, it seems like former theater kid Taylor Swift has also been obsessed with the Wicked press tour. While Trevor discussed Beyoncé’s incredible 11 nominations, fans noticed Taylor and Cynthia seemingly recreating that viral “holding space” moment in the background.

For the uninitiated, the “holding space” meme originates from an interview Cynthia and her Wicked costar Ariana Grande did with reporter Tracy E. Gilchrist for Out.com.

Swifties and Wicked fans alike held plenty of space for the moment:

However, that’s not the only viral Wicked moment Taylor seemingly recreated at the Grammys! This picture of the singer with Chappell Roan looked wickedly familiar to fans of the musical.

Across social media, many people pointed out that the moment mimicked this Wicked movie poster.

The movie poster was a recreation of the iconic Wicked Broadway poster.
