The White House Tweeted A Dig At Selena Gomez After She Cried About Trump’s Deportations, And It Completely Backfired

Selena Gomez recently went viral for sharing an emotional video reacting to Donald Trump’s deportation measures and arrests.

Now, the White House has fired back at Selena with a video that has more than 10 million views. “Kayla Hamilton, Jocelyn Nungaray, and Rachel Morin were murdered by illegal aliens. Their courageous mothers had something to say to @SelenaGomez and those who oppose securing our borders,” the official White House X account tweeted.

In response to the video, people shared how unnecessary they felt it was. “instead of making inflation go down, they’re spending your money making hate videos about Selena’s Gomez,” one person said.

“the white house should NEVER attack a private citizen for having an opinion or expressing empathy. we’re on the cusp of a dictatorship i fear,” this person said.
