Timothee Chalamet, Elle Fanning recreate Ariana Grande’s viral moment

Timothee Chalamet and Elle Fanning recently recreated Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s viral moment.

The viral scene traces back to November when “queer media” journalist Tracy Gilchrist interviewed Ariana and Cynthia for Wicked film.

During an interview with Out.com, the journalist mentioned she saw several queer fans holding space for the lyrics of Defying Gravity, which was sang by Cynthia in the Broadway adaption movie.

During the exchange, Ariana gently took hold of Cynthia’s fingernail and lightly tapped it, seemingly in a gesture of support. 

Now, recently, Timothee and Elle during a press for their new movie A Complete Unknown, a biopic based on Bob Dylan, had a starstruck moment with the same journalist. 

The two actors were greeted by Tracy, who introduced herself, saying, “First, I just want to let you know that I am holding space for you.”

To which Elle replied, “Thank you. I’m starstruck, seeing you walk in.”

Agreeing with her, Timothee said, “Yeah, I am star struck,” before turning to Elle as he held out his finger while she grabbed it with just two of hers.
