Tom Cruise’s annual tradition of gifting a luxurious $126 coconut Bundt cake has once again stirred excitement in Hollywood this holiday season.
The 62-year–old Mission: Impossible star is known for bestowing the dessert on a group of recipients, including celebrities, producers, and crew members.
According to Daily Mail, this year, actress Mindy Kaling, proudly shared her reaction on Cruise’s gift list while posting a picture of the coveted cake on her Instagram Stories.
In regards to this, she wrote in caption, “IYKYK” (If You Know, You Know), while the post was set to the iconic Top Gun soundtrack hit Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins.
Moreover, Kaling wasn’t the only one celebrating the gift. Glen Powell, Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick co-star, also received the cake and praised it during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, while calling it the “most delicious cake you’ve ever had.”
Meanwhile, Powell even threw an annual “Cruise Cake Party” to share slices of the dessert with friends.
As per the publication, the cake, crafted by Doan’s Bakery in Los Angeles, features a moist coconut Bundt base with white chocolate chunks, cream cheese frosting, and toasted coconut flakes.
Additionally, it has become a signature holiday delight in Hollywood, with Kristen Dunst calling it “the best coconut cake I’ve ever had in my life.”
Furthermore, Cruise’s generosity extends beyond stars, as he reportedly shipped 300 cakes from LA to the UK via private jet for the crew of Mission: Impossible 7.
