Travis Kelce’s Ex-Girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, Broke Down In Tears As She Opened Up About Finding Their “Public” Breakup “Overwhelming”

It’s been a year since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce offically confirmed their relationship, and it’s been all that anyone’s talked about since.

But before his romance with Taylor, Travis was dating influencer and sports personality Kayla Nicole.

Kayla and Travis first started dating back in 2017, and had an on-again off-again relationship until their split in 2022.

“It’s been overwhelming,” said Kayla, wiping her eyes as she referenced her experience of “going through a public breakup.”

In another clip in the preview, contestant Alana Blanchard approaches Kayla to ask who her ex is, and Kayla whispers back, “Travis Kelce.”

Since Travis started dating one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, Kayla has been the subject of much online scrutiny.

Last month, Kayla addressed the hate she has received on an episode of the Unapologetically Angel podcast. “I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just online chaos doesn’t impact me,” she said. “You could go to my most recent post and it’ll be people debating why I’m worthless and how I’ll never be a talented person.”

Since he and Taylor went public, Travis has undoubtedly been launched into the public eye more than ever before. But he seems to be handling it well — in an interview with CBS Mornings in September 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said, “It’s the life I chose. I have fun with it. It comes with the territory.”
